Hall’s has restructured its transport leadership team, appointing Damon Bryant to the newly expanded role of fleet and network optimisation general manager and recruiting Brian Wilson as transport operations general manager.
The company says the changes are designed to strengthen operational performance, improve network capability and better support customers as the business continues to evolve.
Bryant will retain responsibility for Hall’s fleet while taking on wider responsibility for fleet and network optimisation, asset utilisation, commercial alignment and long-term network planning.
Hall’s says Bryant’s industry experience and knowledge of the business will help ensure the company’s network continues to deliver greater value, efficiency and reliability for customers.
Wilson joins Hall’s next week, bringing senior transport and logistics experience gained at Mainstream, Air New Zealand, Turners & Growers, Linfox, Fliway, Fonterra and Penske New Zealand.

As general manager transport operations, Wilson will lead Hall’s national transport operations team, overseeing service delivery, operational performance, safety and continuous improvement across the company’s network.
Chief executive Gareth McFarlane says the appointments create dedicated leadership across two key areas of the business.
“Brian will lead the day-to-day execution of our transport operations, while Damon will focus on optimising our fleet, network design and future capability,” says McFarlane.
“These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to investing in our business so that we can continue to deliver reliable, high-quality transport solutions for our partners.
“By strengthening our leadership capability today, we are ensuring Hall’s is well positioned to support your success both now and into the future.”
