Cold chain logistics firm Hall’s Group has announced the appointment of Gareth McFarlane as its new chief executive, effective March 31.
The company shared the news on LinkedIn, highlighting McFarlane’s extensive industry experience spanning nearly three decades. He currently serves as logistics general manager at Coda Group.
“With 29 years of experience and a proven track record in driving performance and transformation across New Zealand companies, he comes with a wealth of experience in supply chain logistics,” Hall’s says.
The role has been vacant since October, following the departure of former chief executive Tonille Crombie, who moved on to become group supply chain and procurement general manager at Talley’s Group.
In 2021, Hall’s was sold to Talley’s Group from previous owners the Madill family.
