Sime Darby Motors New Zealand is appointing Darren Salt as its new Hino general manager.
Salt replaces Michael Doeg who has been promoted to the role of general manager retail which includes responsibility for Continental Cars and City Nissan.
Salt comes to the role having been the southern region sales manager for Hino.
Sime Darby Motors NZ and Australia managing director Pat McKenna says the brand is in good hands.
“It was very pleasing that, after rigorous internal and external search processes, the two strongest candidates for both of these important positions came from our internal pool of talent.”
