He has a background in sales and marketing and starts the role on April 9.

Specialising in drivers and operators seats, Geemac represents the well-respected Isringhausen (ISRI) brand of driver’s seats.

ISRI seats are standard equipment in the majority of trucks sold in New Zealand and Australia.

The New Zealand bus and coach sectors are also big customers of ISRI and Geemac are also the preferred supplier for Kiwi Rail.

Geemac also own subsidiary company Seats (NZ) Limited making them New Zealand largest driver and operator seat supplier.

“Callum will bring youth and plenty of computer savvy skills to modernise Geemac,” Gordon McKendry says.

“It is nice to bring the next generation into the company whilst the old generation can learn new skills themselves and spend a bit more time with key customers.

“Having said that, Callum is definitely a people’s person and will be hitting the road talking to operators about the safety and comfort of ISRI seats. Drivers are our most important asset in the industry and a good ISRI seat is the answer to keeping them healthy, safe and happy,” he says.
