Mitsubishi Fuso will not be making an appearance at the 2016 edition of the National Fieldays, as the ongoing negotiation regarding local distribution arrangements between Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand (MMNZ) and Daimler Trucks Asia continues.
Mike Davidson, the former national sales manager for Fuso Trucks, who prior to taking the role nearly three years ago, also ran MMNZ fleet sales for more than eight years, has moved to Cable Price as Scania sales manager.
Head of marketing for MMNZ Daniel Cook confirmed to DIESELtalk on Friday, May 20 that the truck brand will not be present and sharing space with the passenger and light commercial range at Mystery Creek this year.
Cook also confirmed that Davidson left the company recently, taking up a role as Scania sales manager for Cable Price.
