Fuso New Zealand has expanded its nationwide authorised parts and service network with the addition of two new dealer locations in Auckland and Gisborne.

Transport Diesel & Marine in Onehunga and East Coast Heavy Diesel & Machinery in Awapuni, Gisborne, joined the Fuso authorised Parts and Service (2S) dealer network from July 1, expanding aftersales support for Fuso truck and bus customers in two key regions.

Fuso New Zealand general manager sales and marketing Torben Freer says strengthening the aftersales network is an important investment in supporting customers.

“Our customers rely on their trucks and buses every day, so it’s essential they have easy access to authorised service and support wherever they operate,” says Freer.

“These two new locations are another step in our ongoing commitment to supporting our customers long after they’ve taken delivery of their vehicle – whether it’s for scheduled warranty maintenance, genuine parts access or factory-trained technical support whenever it’s needed.”

Transport Diesel & Marine becomes the latest authorised parts and service dealer, operating from its new facility at 30C Alfred Street, Onehunga. The company has more than 40 years’ experience providing heavy vehicle servicing.

Owners Jim Johnstone and Brendon Morron say joining the Fuso 2S dealer network is a natural fit.

“We’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship and dependable customer service, and those values align closely with Fuso New Zealand.

“We’re looking forward to supporting Fuso customers with authorised servicing and genuine parts backed by our experienced team.”

East Coast Heavy Diesel & Machinery has also expanded its partnership with Fuso, adding authorised parts and service support at its Awapuni, Gisborne, operation alongside its existing Fuso dealership in Whakatāne.

Managing director Scott Hale says the additional location will improve support for Fuso operators across the East Coast.

“It allows us to better serve customers across the East Coast, while building on the strong relationship we’ve established with Fuso New Zealand through our Whakatāne dealership.

“We’re proud to continue growing alongside the brand and helping customers keep their trucks on the road.”
