Foton New Zealand has just launched its special edition Tunland TS1 on the New Zealand market.

Fitted with the same 2.8 litre Cummins engine and world-class components as the standard Tunland, the TS1 kicks things up a notch with a stack of added extras.

These include the TS1 graphics pack, 20-inch exclusive special edition alloy wheels with Nexen 265/50 R20 PRO RA8 tyres, colour-coded grill accents, blackout mirror and pillar covers, black-tint bonnet protector, and black nudge bar.

Foton brand ambassador, Chiefs and former All Black rugby player Liam Messam officially launched the TS1.

It comes in both two-wheel drive ($28,598, plus GST and on road costs (ORC)) and four wheel drive ($32,902 plus GST and ORC) and is available in Ibis White, Tungsten Grey or Phantom Black with matching designer packs.

“Our customers tell us the Tunland gets all the basics right in terms of looks, ride quality, value and, of course, engine performance – but some, quite rightly, were looking for extra spec and individuality,” Foton NZ chief executive officer Roger Jory says.

“The TS1 delivers on both these requirements and is a great option for customers looking to stand out from the crowd.”

Jory says the TS1s are already with dealers and that early enquiries are very strong.

“We expect it to be an extremely popular extension to our range.”
