Fonterra is sticking to its forecast that milk solids will sell for $5.25/kg at next week’s GlobalDairyTrade auction.
That’s despite predictions from some Northland Farmers, who are tipping the price to go above $6.
A Fonterra spokeswoman told the Northern Advocate that $5.25 per kg of milk solids is its best price estimate and any update to the current forecast would have to be disclosed to the farmers first.
