Fleetcoach are able to help employers with training and now offer a seat-based solution where drivers can be swapped out at any time with no additional cost, providing better flexibility for organisations with large vehicle fleets.

Three training plans – fleet, safety and wellbeing – provide a strong base of driver safety allowing organisations to choose the plan that best fits their needs.

Subscription plan purchases can be made online anytime and started immediately with no minimum quantities to purchase.

“Whether you’re simply looking to train your drivers, lower your vehicle running costs, manage your on-road risk, or build a strong driver safety culture, there’s a plan suited to your company’s individual requirements,” Fleetcoach chief operating officer Craig Cockerton says.

“New Zealand’s health and safety laws place expectations and responsibilities on businesses and other organisations to ensure everyone who goes to work comes home healthy and safe,” he says.

“Organisations are aware of work-related risks, but they often don’t extend their focus to road safety risks.”

Research suggests that around 25% of deaths on New Zealand roads involve someone driving for work, and road crashes are the single largest case of work-related fatalities.

“Employers have clear legal obligations for work-related road safety and need to take ownership of this issue,” Cockerton says.

“With Fleetcoach, you can easily incorporate training into your health & safety plan and know you’re building a healthy driving culture,” Cockerton says.

The programme has helped lower driving incidents for companies in Australia and New Zealand based on more than 30 years of internationally published research, and designed around the way adults learn.
