Fiat Professional New Zealand is marking the arrival of the award-winning Series 8 Ducato to the local market.
The model is making its return here after a five-year hiatus and is set to establish itself as a leading contender in the light commercial vehicle segment.
The new Ducato boasts updated technology, onboard comfort, safety, performance, and connectivity.
It will be available in two wheelbase lengths: the Long Wheelbase (LWB) Mid Roof Van measuring 5998mm and offering a cargo volume of 13m3, and the Extra Long Wheelbase Mid Roof measuring 6363mm and offering 15m3.
Standard safety features on the Ducato include forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, electronic stability control, and a range of advanced driver assistance systems for on-road and parking scenarios, including a reverse camera and parking sensors.
The interior of the Ducato has been refreshed, with a redesigned dashboard, leather steering wheel, and a new gear lever. Technology and comfort amenities include wireless phone charging, USB and USB-C ports, a high-voltage power socket, and a heated rear window.
The vehilce also features new digital display for the satnav, driver assistance systems, and U-connect infotainment system.
Under the hood, the Ducato is equipped with a Euro 6D compliant Multijet2 turbo diesel engine, offering high efficiency and low emissions. The 9-speed auto FWD transmission provides 130kW of power and 450Nm of torque.
Optional features include a Tech Pack which includes automatic climate control, 10-inch U-connect touch screen, wireless phone charging, keyless entry, electric folding mirrors, 7-inch full driver cockpit display and New Zealand satellite navigation maps.
The Series 8 Ducato is now available to order in New Zealand, priced at $69,990 plus on road costs.
