The number of vehicles arriving onto New Zealand wharves in September 2022 dropped to a total of 20,779 units compared to a total of 24,118 units for the month prior.
Used truck and van (under 3500kg) arrivals in September 2022 dropped to 201 units from 502 units in the previous month.
The arrivals of used trucks and vans (over 3500kg) dropped to 60 units from 93 units in the previous month.
The total arrivals of used trucks and vans were 261 units for the month of September 2022, down from 595 units in the previous month.
The arrival numbers of new trucks and vans (under 3500kg) also fell in September 2022 to 3280 units from 4302 units in August 2022.
However the arrival numbers of new trucks and vans (over 3500kg) rose to 644 units in September 2022 from 546 units in August 2022.
There were 5118 used car arrivals in September 2022 down from 8611 units in August 2022.
Conversely, there were 11,422 new car arrivals in September 2022, up from 9981 units in August 2022.
