Extending entry to Australasian fleet safety awards

The time limit for entering Brake’s 2017 Australasian fleet safety awards is extending to June 30, 2017, due to a high level of last minute interest.

The awards recognise the achievements of fleet operators and suppliers working to reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers.

It is the third consecutive year in which Brake NZ is running the event, building on the success of its UK fleet safety awards which have been operating for more than a decade.

SurePlan and Suzuki NZ are the two sponsors supporting the Australasian fleet safety awards this year.

“Entering the awards is a fantastic opportunity for organisations and individuals to gain recognition for their successes in improving fleet safety, and so we’re extending the deadline slightly for this year’s awards,” says Brake’s NZ director Caroline Perry.

Fleet operators and suppliers who want to gain recognition for their safety initiatives should enter online at www.fleetsafetyawards.com/nz.

The fleet safety categories include company driver safety award, fleet safety product award, safe vehicles award, road risk manager of the year award, and outstanding commitment to road safety award.

The winners will be announced at Brake’s annual reception for supporters on September 28, 2017, in Auckland.
