National Party leader Bill English says his party will deliver a $32.5 billion investment in roads, broadband, hospitals and schools as part of its vision to 2020.
At the recent party conference, English set out the priorities that the National caucus will take into the 2017 election.
“The economy will be front and centre of everything we do. Because we will have to keep the economy growing before everyone can share the benefits,” says English.
English says developing the economy and improving public finances will allow the Government to focus on investing $32.5 billion in schools, roads, hospitals and broadband.
He says the next stage of which is allocating the $1 billion Housing Infrastructure Fund to help build tens of thousands of new homes faster.
