Helping automotive technicians test, diagnose, service and repair the common rail diesel system (CRD) is all part of an educational course.
Diesel Help Australia, run by experienced heavy diesel mechanic Clinton Brett, is arriving in New Zealand once again with upcoming dates in Timaru and Nelson.
It follows successful events in Auckland and Christchurch earlier in the year.
The theory and practical training courses offer guidance for mechanics who might encounter diesel issues such as fault codes, starting problems, driveability issues, smoke issues and much more.
Technicians will receive 10 hours of common rail diesel diagnostics over two days. All attendees receive a certificate, light meals and refreshments and one a month trial of over the phone diagnostic service.
The event is taking place at the Ara Institute of Canterbury, Timaru, from November 22-23 and Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology from November 29-30.
