A revision by Standards New Zealand has brought NZS5433 (transport of dangerous goods by land) up to date, in line with United Nations recommendations.
It also meshes with changes to New Zealand rules and regulations that have been made since 2007. The NZTA prompted the revision and the process was carried out by committee and in consultation with operators, industry experts and the public.
