A Hawke’s Bay truck show saw thousands of people gather for rides and family fun.
The biennial Mitre 10 Mega Ride in a Truck Day held at T&G Pipfruit in Whakatu raised money for local organisations, Hawkes Bay Today reports.
Two-hundred trucks from around the North Island gathered at the event.
Napier local Penelope Northover says her two children had a fantastic time, which included a truck ride.
“It’s the first time I’ve been, the kids have just jumped off the truck.
“They haven’t been in a truck like that before and they absolutely loved it.”
