Canadian ibright distributor Reefer Sales & Service will facilitate the installation into the Kriska’s refrigerated trailer fleet in the first quarter of 2014.

Kriska ceo Mark Seymour says cold chain security is of paramount concern to his perishable and pharmaceutical customers, particularly the risk of tampering with goods and temperature abuse.

Seymour says the ibright system will allow allow employees and customers to see where the freight is in real time, as well as the current and past temperature history of the load, where and when the trailer was opened, and the status of the fuel within the refrigerated unit and it will also allow them to remotely change the units temperature settings if required.
