The registrations of used imported commercial vehicles jumped 11.3% in 2015 to 8838 units from 7943 in the previous year of 2014.
Figures released by New Zealand Transport Authority today shows that the overall used import market was the best in a decade.
There were 143,642 registrations of passenger vehicles in 2015, an 11% increase on the 2014 total of 129,923.
Import arrivals for the year of 2015 were 6564 used commercial vehicles and 150,862 used passenger cars.
