MITOAs part of the government’s targetted review of qualifications (TROQ), MITO and industry stakeholders are working together to identify appropriate qualifications and qualification pathways for the heavy transport and automotive engineering industry.

Together they have simplified the framework and reduced the number of qualifications while ensuring they continue to reflect workforce development needs.

The NZ Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 5) also requires feedback.

Respondents can fill in an online survey at the MITO website or email comments to MITO’s Senior Advisor (Qualifications), Christopher Stachowski at christopher.stachowski@mito.org.nz
