The Isuzu Truck New Zealand dealer network has been strengthened with the opening of a rejuvenated Tauranga dealership operated by CAL Isuzu.
The Mt Maunganui site, located at 138 Totara St, now offers a full suite of new truck sales, parts and service, including engineering and electrical services.
A key feature of the updated premises is a new certificate of fitness (CoF) inspection lane and pit, as well as the addition of two extra service bays.
“A strong dealer representation and service network nationwide is crucial to maintaining high levels of sales and support for Isuzu Truck customers,” Isuzu Trucks NZ general manager Dave Ballantyne says.
CAL Isuzu Tauranga dealer principal Steve Hoyne says the site “now offers a true one-stop-shop service, as customers will be able to have a CoF inspection in addition to any manner of other truck-related work”.
“The revamp has really lifted our presence in the area and feedback from our customers is that they enjoy coming to the new facility.
“Our 22-employees also appreciate the enhanced workplace environment, including a new cafe and landscaped outdoor area, so it’s a win-win all round for everyone who is involved with the dealership,” Hoyne says.
The new larger site also allows the CAL Isuzu Tauranga team to carry a wider range of parts, in many instances accelerating repair turnaround times.
Isuzu Trucks is now represented by 11 Master Truck Dealers offering full sales, parts and service facilities and 17 Authorised Service Centres throughout the country.
