Fuso NZ marks the 50th anniversary of Fieldays with a chance to win a Mercedes-Benz X250d-Class Power through buying a Fuso HD 8×4.
Both vehicles embody premium Daimler engineering, Fuso NZ managing director Kurtis Andrews says. The giveaway is an opportunity to leverage the synergies between Fuso and its parent company, he adds.
“The Fuso HD 8×4 range is the pinnacle of our heavy truck offering and we see a clear alignment with the X-Class, New Zealand’s most premium ute,” Andrews says. The choice of colour and transmission type is up to the winner, subject to availability.
The HD 8×4’s 12-speed AMT transmission has been customised for New Zealand roads and is growing in popularity with operators.
Andrews says that given the 8×4 market in New Zealand is relatively small, those in the draw will have a strong chance of driving away the X-Class.
“Because buying and registering an 8×4 has a fairly long lead time, we are running the promotion until the end of the year to give operators a chance to get a truck through the bodybuilder before registering it.”
