Bulk Adblue 24/7 at GAS Whatawhata

GAS is installing a bulk AdBlue tank for transport and operators to use at its 24/7 refueling site at the intersection of routes 39 and 23 in Whatawhata near Hamilton.

This location is popular with transport companies using 39 for North and South as a bypass to SH1.

It is also a critical stop for Raglan residents commuting to Hamilton.

Owner David White says his AdBlue stock of 4-litre and 10-litre packs suit tractor and light commercial drivers, but the truck operators needed easier AdBlue access alongside the Diesel pumps.

White has owned the site since 1998 and rebranded to GAS in 2005.

He has seen many changes in the market in this time and says the growth in AdBlue will be significant to business as the modern fleet grows.

To promote the availability of bulk AdBlue at GAS Whatawhata, it is rewarding customers buying more than 150 litres of fuel with a free pie and coffee with a receipt of purchase (conditions apply) at the counter anytime it is open.
