New Zealand industry truck enthusiasts are advised that The Heritage Truck Association 2013 show has been rescheduled for the weekend of July 6 and 7 and relocated to a new venue, at the Rocklea Showgrounds, Brisbane.
The show is usually scheduled for May at the Beenleigh Showground, south of Brisbane, but earlier than expected rain made it too wet for the heavy trucks to traverse the showgrounds without lengthy ground rehabilitation.
The show will go on, however, at Rocklea.
Large numbers of Kiwi visitors attended the recent Brisbane Truck Expo, and this heritage show has a history of attracting large numbers of classic truck enthusiasts from both sides of the Tasman.
The Heritage Truck Association says it would have liked to have the show at Beenleigh, but the new Rocklea venue will encourage good response from exhibitors and visitors alike.
