Bridgestone New Zealand is the gold winner in the tyre retailer category from the annual Reader’s Digest quality service awards (QSA).
It has been either a silver or gold medal winner every year since the awards began, which was six years ago.
The QSA survey offers gold and silver recommendations in 41 categories, conducted by Catalyst and samples 1500 New Zealanders.
Consumers were asked to rank their experience across criteria such as personalised service, understanding of customers’ needs, ease of service and satisfaction levels.
“This award belongs to all of those in our incredible, hardworking network around the country who put customers first every day, and strive to ensure that Kiwi motorists get the service they need when they drive into our stores,” Bridgestone director of New Zealand business John Staples says.
“Bridgestone’s reputation is built on trust, and customer service plays a significant role in this. It’s an honour to be recognised by our customers for the importance we place on delivering the best possible experience.”
Reader’s Digest editor in chief Louise Waterson says the awards recognise how customer service can be delivered and how people should be treated.
Other winners include AA Insurance, the car insurance winner, followed by AMI. Avis won the car rental category, beating Hertz and Jucy is the top campervan rentals over Maui Rentals NZ. Toyota Signature class beat out Honda Certified Used Cars to win the Used Car Sales category. In the used vehicle dealerships category, Turners Cars came in first, followed by Buy Right Cars.
