A person has been killed at Vehicle Inspection New Zealand’s Palmerston North site this afternoon.
The site has been closed until further notice following the incident.
Inspector Mike Coleman of Police Central Communications told Fairfax NZ the victim was a staff member.
AutoTalk understands chief executive Frank Willett and the company’s directors are on their way to Palmerston North.
