Auto Super Shoppes has appointed Jonathan Onyzskeiwics as new chief executive.
He is taking over from current boss Kellie Tremayne and starts the new role on May 13.
Onyzskeiwics started his career in the trade as an automotive apprentice straight out of high school. He quickly became a qualified technician and second-in-charge of a prominent European workshop in Victoria, Canada.
He moved to New Zealand in 2013, taking a role as franchise development manager, then general manager, for Midas New Zealand.
At the helm of Midas he implemented a number of unique and innovative initiatives, gained the respect of franchisees and continued to improve the performance of the franchise network.
Tremayne is moving to Northland and leaving the role to spend time with family.
Auto Super Shoppes is an independent general automotive repairer with 92 sites around the country from Whangarei to Invercargill.
