Auckland Transport’s board of directors today farewelled NZTA chief executive Geoff Dangerfield, who was a foundation director.
Dangerfield sat on the AT Board as the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) chief executive. He joined the AT board on its formation in 2010.
AT Chairman, Dr Lester Levy, acknowledged Dangerfield’s depth of understanding of the transport sector.
“Geoff brought us a valuable blend of governance and management experience,” says Levy.
“He has been pivotal in the alignment of NZTA policy and delivery with those of Auckland Transport,” concludes Levy.
