Due to growing interest from the transport industry, The Mount Truck Show has moved to a new venue, being Tauranga Airport, for the event on January 23.
Event organiser Alex Salter told SunLive that more than 150 trucks from all over New Zealand would travel to the annually held event, which is now in its third consecutive year.
Big Rigs are coming from as far as New Plymouth and Christchurch for the event. The evening ends with a night glow from the trucks parked around Tauranga Airport.
This year marks the inaugural combination of The Mount Truck Show with The Classics of the Sky event, and organisers are hoping to raise more than $5000 for the local rescue helicopter service.
