EROAD has secured a multi-year agreement with Cleanaway Waste Management to supply vehicle monitoring, reporting and compliance technology across the waste company’s fleet of more than 3000 heavy vehicles in Australia.
The deal includes a comprehensive safety and visibility package, with each standard and dual-sided vehicle fitted with multiple connections. These include location tracking, dashboard and internal fatigue cameras, seat shakers, rollover alerts, duress buttons, critical-event monitoring and satellite capability for remote operations.
Installation is under way, with full rollout expected by November 2026. EROAD says the agreement will contribute more than A$5 million in annual recurring revenue, supported by fixed annual escalators. The contract runs for five years, with an option to extend for a further three.
EROAD chief executive Mark Heine says the partnership reinforces the company’s growth ambitions in Australia.
“EROAD is incredibly privileged to partner with Australia’s leading total waste management, industrial and environmental services company,” Heine says.
“This partnership underscores both our shared commitment to health and safety and the potential of the Australian market. Securing this large enterprise agreement is the result of our continued investment in new camera technology and workflow to ensure it meets our customers’ operational and compliance needs. It also demonstrates our long-term commitment to supporting Australian industry with best-in-class solutions.”
Cleanaway head of fleet safety and compliance Nicholas Dhar says the company chose EROAD after a detailed assessment.
“At Cleanaway, safety is more than a priority, it’s the foundation of everything we do,” Dhar says.
“Our partnership with EROAD reflects our commitment to embracing smart technology that supports safer, more efficient operations. After a thorough evaluation, EROAD stood out for its comfort, flexibility, ongoing support and strong commitment on safety.”
NZX- and ASX-listed EROAD says previously issued financial guidance is unchanged.
