New Zealand heavy equipment distributor TDX has been recognised as one of Deloitte’s ‘Best Managed Companies for 2023’.
The Best Managed Companies programme celebrates outstanding private businesses by evaluating them against global benchmarks for success.
TDX was named alongside Leighs Construction Limited for this year’s accolade.
TDX’s inclusion underscores the company’s commitment to excellence in management practices, innovation, and sustained growth.
According to the Best Managed Companies programme, successful companies such as TDX excel in four key categories which include strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities, and innovation, as well as governance and financials.
“During this time of economic uncertainty, it’s fantastic to see businesses not only focusing on their financials, but also taking a close look at their management practices, culture and overall strategies to ensure they are equipped to weather whatever is thrown their way,” Deloitte partner and Best Managed Companies lead Jamie Hall says.
“This year’s winners share similar attributes in their approach to strong governance, a focus on culture and clear strategies which they have integrated and executed across their businesses.”
TDX chief executive Colm Hamrogue says the award “is testament to the dedication and support of the entire TDX team including our customers, partners, suppliers, shareholders, board”.
“By no means does this award say that we always get it right or that we are perfect. We are continually trying to make our company a great place for our people so that we can provide good support, service and products to our customers while being the partner of choice for the brands we represent,” Hamrogue says.
TDX is a distributor of world-leading brands such as Volvo and Yanmar Construction Equipment, Shell Lubricants, Perkins engines, Sennebogen material handlers, Kohler generators, Allison Transmissions and Linde Material Handling Equipment under the subsidiary company LDX.
