A New Zealand freight and logistics review is being proposed by Massey University and it’s asking those in the industry for support.
The review aims to explore the state of the country’s supply chain sector and is seeking funding from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
“Unlike many other countries, New Zealand has never carried out a State of Logistics Review,” supply chain management senior lecturer Dr Carel Bezuidenhout says.
“Join us by registering your interest and voice your support for a comprehensive review of the logistics ecosystem in Aotearoa.”
The review aims to provide valuable feedback around topics such as infrastructure, warehousing, sustainability, governance, shipping, costs, system performance, economic development, borders, skills and more.
Massey plans to make 1000 hardcopies of the final report available to organisations and individuals who contributed significantly during the review process.
