Iveco New Zealand is continuing to beef up its national network of full service and parts dealers
It is appointing Cromwell-based New Zealand Trucks as a full service and parts dealer at its new facility which also includes a VTNZ COF-B facility on the premises.
“Our relationship with New Zealand Trucks is one of the best dealer/OEM relations I have seen around the world and now having a partnership with them in such a strategic Southland location is a wonderful asset to Iveco and its customers,” says Iveco New Zealand’s network planning manager Kristi Walker.
Taupo-based Dudley Mechanical Services is now becoming an official Iveco New Zealand dealer covering the central North Island region which was lacking representation for the truck brand.
Walker says the formal appointment of Dudley Mechanical Services represents the fact that their staff and facilities are perfectly placed and equipped to cover the brand’s growth in this region of the country.
Iveco is also appointing TRT Auckland as an official parts dealer based in Wiri.
“Our strategic parts growth for the future involves all makes and parallel supply, so the appointment of TRT is vital in this area. TRT has a proven track record that is second to none and we are excited at the opportunities around this appointment,” says Walker.
The New Zealand Iveco network now stands at 23 dealers and stretches from Whangarei to Invercargill and all are covered by Iveco’s 24/7 Iveco Assist customer care programme.
“Our network is the strongest it has been yet, and we are committed to working with our partners to ensure this strength continues and we are able to support our current and future product line up with first class service nationwide,” says Walker.
Iveco New Zealand supplies commercial vehicles spanning the light, medium and heavy duty truck segments and, under the Iveco Bus brand, buses and coaches.
The commercial vehicle range includes on and off-road models beginning with car licence vans, through to prime movers rated at up to 140 tonnes GCM. The Acco and Powerstar vehicles, developed and produced specifically for the Australian and New Zealand markets, complement Iveco’s worldwide sellers such as the Daily, Eurocargo, Trakker and Stralis.
